New Bird Ov Prey Site & Offerings

This is the official invite I sent out regarding the new Bird Ov Prey website I created to showcase the new Base Metal Batwing and Ribcage Totem t-shirts.

Temple of Bones

A new promo piece for Bird Ov Prey. I have been drawing alot of inspiration from Druidic Ritual Sacrifices discovered in the bogs of Britain. These sacrifices were supremely detailed, consisting of a multitude of layered symbolic stages.

Fur Fetish

The continuing stuggle of the Squid Vs. Bunny. This is one of the reworked sketches I did for Mindless Self Indulgence's "Another Mindless Rip Off" EP. All the final artwork was vectorized versions of these sketches, so I thought it would be fun to see what happened when I added some color by hand and let the original loose pencil sketch show through.

The Rabbit Has Lost His Head

This started as a quick sketch that I just felt the need to add some color to. I am going to blame watching Terry Gilliam's "Tideland" on this one.

Batman Skull

This was just a painting exercise I gave myself. I might be obsessed with Batman, but its the Joker's color pallet that I really love.

Bombs Over Batman

I am a bit obsessed with Batman right now. The whole "Doctor Scientist" thing was something I thought up in the middle of the night and wrote it at the top of the page. Then the next week I heard it being used on SNL. So scrap that idea. But anyway. I have always loved comics and drew my own when I was much younger. One of them is over 80 pages. But I have not thought of doing anything of that sort again until recently. Paul Pope's Year 100 really got me excited about Batman again in a huge way.
